IIOT-MIL1 - Embedded Computing Basics (Linux, Python)
Learning Outcome: After this course, participants will be able to perform basic configuration and management steps on Moxa embedded computers that are running Moxa Industrial Linux. This capability will be used throughout all other IIoT courses of Moxa Technical College

Prerequisites: Understanding of Ethernet Communication (Networks/IP Address) as in MTC course IES-F1; Basic Linux understanding and Linux command line knowledge; Basic Python knowledge; Linux & Hardware manual and Quick Installation Guide.

IIOT-CON1 - Edge Connectivity Basics (I/O, MGate, NPort)
Learning Outcome: After this course, participants will be able to successfully configure and use three important types of edge connectivity devices: remote I/O (Moxa products ioLogik and ioThinx), protocol converters (MGates), and serial-to-Ethernet converters (NPorts). This will be key for putting together more complex distributed IIoT solutions like in IIOT-CON2.

Prerequisites: I/O - Come with general ability to change IP and come with Chrome Browser; Preferably prepare a Laptop with Admin Rights; Read Moxa tech note “technote-how-to-use-mqtt-to-connect.pdf;" Read ioThinx 4510 User Manual pages that explain MQTT configuration; MGate - Basic infrastructure understanding – Passed IES-F1 modules; Modbus Knowledge; Basic knowledge of MGATE (download manual) [How to power up and set mapping]; Basic understanding of MQTT; NPort - Basic understand of serial-to-Ethernet conversion; Read NPort User Manual.

IIOT-TPE1 - ThingsPro Edge Basics
Learning Outcome: After this course, participants will be able to set up, use and manage a simple sensor-to-cloud application using Moxa's ThingsPro Edge software on a Moxa embedded computer like the UC product line.

Prerequisites: IIOT-MIL1; General knowledge of IIoT; Linux knowledge; Postman installed in a laptop; Azure IoT Explorer installed in a laptop; General understanding of Modbus; Bring your own Azure IoT Hub [Azure subscription]; Download and copy TPE .deb package into UC (a download link will be provided).

IIOT-CON2 - ThingsPro Edge & Edge Connectivity
Learning Outcome: After this course, participants will be able to "put it all together" and set up a sensor-to-cloud application that includes data sources that are not directly accessible via a LAN connection from the IIoT gateway - using the skills from IIOT-CON1 and IIOT-TPE1.

Prerequisites: IIOT-CON1 and IIOT-TPE1 courses.

IIOT-TPE2 - Edge Computing & Zero Touch Provisioning with AIG and Azure IoT Edge
Learning Outcome: After this course, participants will be able to take advantage of key cloud and edge computing features that Microsoft Azure provides. Specifically, participants will be able to define and implement a simple "zero touch provisioning" service that uses Microsoft Azure IoT Hub's Device Provisioning Service (DPS). In addition participants will be able to set up a simple Azure IoT Edge (AIE) module to collect local data and send it to the cloud.

Prerequisites: IIOT-TPE1 course.

IIOT-SRV1 - IIoT Service Partner Training
Learning Outcome: After this training, participants will be able to prepare each IIoT gateway and/or edge computer individually and “at scale” (= for multiple devices at the same time), using the ThingsPro Proxy Tool. In addition, participants will know how to use basic scripts provided by Moxa to execute additional steps that may be required for a specific customer project, like installing additional software, configure & secure the device and do basic quality checks automatically.

Prerequisites: Bring your own device(s) + subscription (where required); For participants to complete their Moxa Certified Engineers status: All other Moxa Technical College IIoT Track Trainings, except IIOT-POC1; For participants seeking to operate the ThingsPro Proxy tool as part of the distribution and customer deliver process, this training does not require any other Moxa courses, but basic Linux and Python knowledge would help to understand the advanced topics related to verification tests and beyond.

IIOT-POC1 - PoC Training/Hackathon
Learning Outcome: This course is organized as a hackathon rather than a standard training course, with the goal to add third-party products and services from Moxa's IIoT partners to the solution. Afterward, participants will be able to build a sensor-to-cloud application using Moxa products as well as partner software and hardware, like they would, when developing a proof of concept (PoC) for a customer.

Prerequisites: All Moxa Technical College IIoT Track Trainings; Bring your own device(s) + subscription (where required); Experience with selected IIoT partner equipment and applications; Participate in a preparatory session 4-8 weeks ahead (to ensure availability of required equipment, accessories, etc.); Select one or few IIoT partners.
